1. Fried Tenderloin Pork Chop
Ingredient 
  • 1 pork tenderloin chop (about 1 inch thick) 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1egg
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (or regular milk)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the pork chop: Pat the pork chop dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
 
2. Set up the breading station:
  • In one shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • In another shallow dish, whisk the egg and buttermilk together.
3. Coat the pork chop:
  • Dredge the pork chop in the flour mixture, covering it completely
  • Dip the coated pork chop into the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off.
  • Return the pork chop to the flour mixture, pressing lightly to coat evenly.
4. Heat the oil: In a skillet, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom (about 1/4 inch deep). Heat over medium-high until hot (around 350°F or 175°C),
 
5. Fry the pork chop: Carefully add the breaded pork chop to the hot oil. Fry for abo 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy, and the internal temperatu reaches 145°F (63°C).
 
6. Drain and serve: Remove the pork chop from the oil and place it on a paper towe lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Begin by adding your buttermilk, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, and seasoning to a mixing bowl. Add your pork chops to the buttermilk and coat them in the marinade. Place this in the fridge for 2-4 hours up to overnight. After marinating the pork chops, prep your flour mixture in a large mixing bowl. Season flour to taste. Heat your fryer/oil to 350 degrees. Fry pork chops for 3-5 minutes per side (depending on thickness) flipping occasionally. Once pork chops are golden brown and cooked thru, remove to a wire rack to drain.
